Scrum / Agile Master

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • As a Scrum Master, you accompany development and organization teams in our customer projects and lead them methodically as a servant leader
  • You coach the teams, teach them the basics of agile working and ensure the necessary empowerment of the team members „on the job“
  • You also act in an operationally supportive way and actively demonstrate agile working
  • You facilitate and support all scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective
  • You actively support the product owners in the formulation of sprint goals and their achievement
  • You leave the purely methodical level if necessary and also offer the entire team content-related abstract support
  • Your support is also needed in setting up, maintaining, and using project management tools that are used in your projects
  • In coordination with the product owners, you ensure that an agile mindset is developed and internalized in the teams
  • As an advanced and experienced Scrum Master, you will accompany several teams; these can also be pure Scrum Master teams
  • You will develop basic training and enablement concepts „off the job“ for your teams – in close coordination with our spot.academy

YOUR PROFILE

  • Bachelor or Master degree – preferably in the fields of business and/or information sciences
  • You have at least three years of professional experience in IT and/or project management
  • You also have knowledge of requirements management in the context of IT projects, preferably in the ERP, HR IT, and/or cloud computing environment
  • You exemplify and promote Agile values and principles
  • You have outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills
  • You have knowledge of an agile framework or method (i.e. Scrum, Kanban), or understanding of software development life cycle models as well as in-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices
  • You are characterized by an above-average, agile mindset, which you have already been able to consolidate in the context of at least two agile project assignments
  • You generally have very good IT and project management skills, also in the classic environment (e.g. PMI or Prince2)
  • You like to pass on your knowledge to your colleagues and to motivate and enable them to work
  • In addition, you have a strong organizational talent and are characterized by proactivity in your thinking and acting
  • You have a high willingness to quickly familiarize yourself with complex issues, even if they are unfamiliar to you
  • You enjoy working in a team, as well as planning and decision-making in diverse projects
  • You have excellent IT skills, especially in the use of project management tools such as Jira, OpenProject, or Trello. MS Office is a must
  • You have a confident appearance and strong communication skills at management level
  • You have basic German and good English language skills
